Same day Meteora Tour (Train Station)

Daily tour to Meteora (3.5 hours)

greece_kalambaka_train_2Departing from Athens, the train is by far the most pleasant way to get to Kalambaka.

From Athens you can take either a train or a bus up to Meteora. The trains servicing the northern part of Greece leave from the “Larissa station” in Athens, while the buses serving that part of the country leave from Terminal B, at Liossion Street.

Train schedules can be obtained from OSC website [1]

We will pick you up from the Kalambaka train station at 13:18 (The train departs from Athens at 8:27 am)

We will visit two monasteries of Meteora. Stop for photographs from panoramic spots.

If we have more time, we could visit to other monasteries or monastery dependencies

Back to the train station of Kalambaka. Departure from Kalambaka to Athens at 17:22

  • Price per person with a minibus: 25 euros (at least 8 persons)
  • Price by taxi 20 euros per hour

It is possible for hotel accommodation in order to enjoy the other attractions in Meteora

Tickets for monasteries are not included.

I am interested about tours at Meteora. Please select tour or tours (required)
